Inspired by a famous French icon of beauty
The name About Rose was chosen to epitomize the style of the famous Josephine de Beauharnais, known also as Rose from Martinique
Empress of France, her elegance and beauty made her one of the most famous women of the late 18th century.
It was at the Château de Malmaison not far from Paris that she developed her love and passion for interior design, botantical gardens and especially rare flowers.
As her expertise in botany and horticulture blossomed, her magnificent gardens grew to include more than 250 varieties of roses from around the world.

“This elegant perfume opens on head notes of tangerine, cedar wood and black current with hints of spice. The heart is floral with velvety iris, violet and vetiver.
